Physical Environment – Yom

PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT

Yom orbits Pi Ursa Major, a type GOV star slightly smaller than Earth’s sun, once every 345 standard Earth days in the second position among seven planets. Its nearest astral neighbor, a single moon, circles the planet once every eleven days at a distance of 180,000 kilometers. Since Yom lies 50.2 light years from Earth, the constellations in its sky bear scant resemblance to those seen from Earth, but the brightest stars in Earth’s heavens remain clearly visible.
